She has experience with individual, corporate and partnership taxes, as well as, bookkeeping, payroll and accounting. Stephanie was raised in Tacoma, WA and moved to North Dakota in 1989 with her husband. She enjoys gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

 WALT SCHAAN, CPAEmail: wschaan@hagakommer.com Walt joined Haga Kommer through a 2015 acquisition, with 14 years of CPA experience preparing individual and all types of business returns. His financial accounting and payroll services evolved from managerial positions in small to publicly traded businesses. His first accounting position was a corporate income tax auditor with ND Tax Commissioner; producing a governmental perspective. Walt was raised on a farm near Rugby, ND. His employment with residential developers included moves from San Diego to Dallas, Las Vegas and Denver. He returned to ND in 2010 to join a firm later acquired by Haga Kommer. He currently enjoys nature through frisbee golf, fishing, and gardening. His volunteer positions have centered around financial services for nonprofits. EDUCATION

 JESSICA Magilke, CPAEmail: jmagilke@hagakommer.com Jessica joined Haga Kommer in 2017 as an accountant. She previously worked for Wisian and Breeding, PLLC in Amarillo, TX as an accountant where she gained experience in bookkeeping, payroll and tax preparation. She enjoys spending her spare time riding and training horses and competing in rodeos throughout the summer. EDUCATION
 Scott HoffmanEmail: shoffman@hagakommer.com Scott joined Haga Kommer in 2017 as a staff accountant and has previous experience with both public and private accounting through past work experiences. He worked at an accounting firm in Mobridge, SD and also was in the accounting department for Harms Oil Company while attending school. He enjoys spending time outside playing basketball, golf, tennis, and frisbee golf. He also loves spending time with family and friends.

 CARMEN WILLEmail: cwill@hagakommer.com Carmen joined HagaKommer in 2016 as an Administrative Assistant. She is a Mandan native who previously worked for 18 years at a dental office. Prior to that she taught part-time for a Christian School, and also part-time as a Montessori preschool and daycare aide. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, going to movies, walking, and doing suduko puzzles.

 Taylor Walker, CPAEmail: twalker@hagakommer.com Taylor is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration-Investments. Prior to joining Haga Kommer, Ltd., Taylor worked for a regional financial institution as an Appraiser; appraising a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and agricultural real estate. Preceding her work as an Appraiser, Taylor worked as an Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers auditing tech companies. Taylor is passionate about helping clients navigate through the tax planning and preparation process. When away from the office, Taylor is most likely spending time with her family, or grabbing a latte with friends.

She grew up in Bismarck, ND and is a graduate of Dickinson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She has several years of experience in private accounting. In her free time she enjoys reading, thrift shopping, playing soccer, and spending summer weekends at the lake cabin.
