Janet joined Haga Kommer in 2023 and specializes in individual tax returns; corporate and partnership returns and trust tax returns; and consulting with businesses and individuals on tax, financial and planning issues.

Janet was born and raised in Portland, Oregon.  Janet lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband Tim and their golden retriever.  They have 3 adult daughters and 3 awesome grandchildren. Janet enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, walking, and cheering for the AZ Cardinals and Phoenix Suns.

Kasandra Walker

Kasandra joined Haga Kommer as an Administrative Assistant in 2023.  She has several years of administrative assisting experience. Kasandra was raised in Phoenix, Arizona and lives with her husband, Roland, and daughter, Avery.  

In her free time, she enjoys taking spontaneous mini road trips over the weekend in north of Arizona and different states to give herself a break from the high temperatures during the summer. She loves attending different community events hosted around the valley (especially when it involves food). Kasandra appreciates quality time with her family. She has four awesome nephews who she likes to spoil by taking them on different adventures. In the fall, Kasandra enjoys attending AZ Cardinals games and concerts.

Candice Rioux

Candice joined Haga Kommer as an Administrative Assistant in 2023. Candice has over 15 years of administrative experience.  Candice was born and raised in Orange County, California before relocating to Litchfield Park, Arizona in 2020.

Candice and her husband Garry have two sons, Luc and Jackson. They enjoy “Family Funday Sunday” every weekend, spontaneous road trips and Disney+ movie-thons.  Candice is an active member of the BSE PTA Board and volunteers often for school activities.

Simon Zahrbock

Simon joined Haga Kommer in 2023 as a Staff Accountant, bringing with him prior experience in finance and accounting. During his academic years, Simon completed multiple internships while balancing his commitment as a student athlete.

Outside of the office, Simon finds enjoyment in various sports such as basketball and golf, alongside activities like running, weightlifting, and being outdoors. Quality time spent with his wife, Morgan, and their dog, Banks, is quite important. They indulge in leisurely walks, movie nights, surfing and friendly competition in races!

Jason Lucas

Haga Kommer in 2023 as a Senior Staff Accountant. He is versed in tax and accounting with several years of experience in all facets of the industry.

Jason’s hobbies include playing basketball, chess, bowling, and collecting sports memorabilia. He loves spending time with his wife, Mireya, and his two children, Aria and Anthony. Together, Jason and his family love to participate in familial activities like going to the zoo or different museums and visiting family members in California and Utah.

Anbukarasi Chandran

Anbu was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 2015, residing in several states before settling in Phoenix. She has experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, manufacturing, retail, the service industry, and individual and business taxation.

Anbu and her spouse Selvam have two children and is the eldest of three siblings, whom with the rest of her family, reside in India.  She is an energetic and enthusiastic person. Her sources of energy come from her family and being around good people.  She likes to spend quality time playing with her kids and with friends.

Anbu’s favorite activities are dancing, sports, fitness, traveling, hiking, exploring nature, and reading.  Geography, Geopolitics, International relations, world & Indian history and culture, psychology, economics, and wealth creation are some of her favorite subjects and topics, which she shares with her children.
